Dita Von Teese a very sexy women indeed has been reported in the press as saying “On Halloween she will be wearing jeans and a T-shirt, just like any normal girl”.

Dita who is knows for the sexy little numbers she likes to usually dress up in that are a throw back to the 40’s and are so sexy and revealing that I am sure it sets many a pulse a racing!  She reportedly said not long ago she would never wear jeans and a t-shirt so she is making statement by wearing jeans she is saying this is not what I normally wear and it is therefore my costume.

I am sure regardless of the cut of jeans she will look very hot and very sexy and Miss Von Teese if you do need a pair of jeans sending to you, just drop me a line and I will personally bring them right over for you FOC!

Not to jump on the political band wagon and all that but I have just found some pictures of Mr. Obama looking comfortable and relaxed in jeans as reported in the Daily News.  They were dark-wash jeans loosely cut and basically looking at the photographs he also looked good.

Mr Obama I think would also look very snazzy in our jeans, they are after all cut with the fashion conissor in mind (well okay some things that he has worn in the past like the dungarees in the summer did not hit the mark but after all he is on a campaign for presidency and has to show a conservative side - there is me banging on and I don’t really know a lot about all of this!)

His wife also Michelle Obama is also winning people over with her own style of understated elegance. She apparently buys a lot of her clothes on line (good for you Michelle - can I offer you a very good website called schultzjeans.com - for casual wear) buying from jcrew.com. So Mr Obama’s jeans may well have come from there aswell.

Cortez are a fantastic band originating from Scotland they had a brilliant gig on the 4th October to a select group of people invited to celebrate the how HMV supported the Fratellis.  The Fratellis paid for the night (where was my invite I ask) and they also asked provide the entertainment, which they did in style.

Cortez for those that don’t know are hail from Glasgow and are one of the most exciting and talented acts around.  They are a four piece rock band that are edgy and have their own modern edge.  They have supported acts such as Wishbone Ash, Mohair and The Black Lips.

We have just received a couple of photos from a valued customer in Germany who recently attended a trade show.  It was very positive and lead to even more sales, all good for busines we say. We thought you would like to share a photo or two with us.

Celebrities seem to be doing it all the time setting up designer clothes ranges from LL Cool J selling a full range of designer clothes in Sears to Victoria Beckham and her designer jeans.  It keeps them in the papers I suppose, now Katie Holmes famous for, now let me see what is she famous for, Dawsons Creek and marrying Mr. Tom Cruise.

Mrs Tom Cruise is launching a new range of designer denims what it consists of at the moment is a secret but will probably be women’s and men’s jeans.  Recently she has been photographed many times wearing Tom’s jeans - boyfriend style rolled up and belted and now she is launching her own range.

She is working with Neiman Marcus and they have apparently said that they ”love the fact that Katie gets so much publicity” and this is the reason that they commissioned her to design a couture line.

Now in the past Mrs Beckham and Mrs Cruise were great friends but reportedly now they are not!  A falling out possibly.  Mrs Beckham also has her own range of designer jeans on sale in Saks and also online and we all know them from her distinctive crown logo on the back pocket.

My questions would be does she design them or does she just put her name to the range? does she know how to cut a pattern and grade it I am sure she does not! (could be wrong on that one! ) but I don’t think so.  Celebrities put their names to products as it is all publicity and sometimes I think that it is wrong that an item sells because of which celebrity has their name on it.   What do you think?

Now who has not yet heard of the fabulous Gok Wan who is not only inspirational he is supportive and loving of all figures and shapes a true admirer and lover of the female and male form.  Famous for “How to look good naked” on channel 4.  This week Gok was quoted in the Guardian as saying “All gorgeous girls should have a great pair of jeans”.  Of course we agree with this statement as after all, when we feel good in a great pair of good fitting jeans we feel sexy and confident so come on girls we all deserve to have a great pair of jeans and when we wear them we feel great.
