Underwear not only makes a perfect gift, it is also great to go shopping for yourself. Shopping on the high street though can be sometimes a real pain and with the wonderful Internet it makes it so easy, soft music, glass of wine, no queuing, no parking charges just flick on the computer and settle back and shop, I love shopping for underwear.
The only draw back about it that, is it can be a minefield in the fact that what should you buy? So many things to consider and look at and you are spoilt for choice, it can sometimes be overwhelming and why buy one product rather than another. We all feel that way and sometimes we are a bit nervous about buying a new product that we have not tried before with questions rushing though our heads, such as, will it fit? How will it fit? What will the quality of the garment be like? What happens if I don’t like it?

Found this little gem on the Internet at a time when we are all trying our very best and have the best intentions to drop a jeans size without munching on lettuce leaves or Ryvita found this and it made me giggle. It started by asking are your “Jeans a little too tight? Having a tiny bit of muffin top going on?” Well I have to read on because the picture was intriguing to say the least.
- “Well here is a solution to stretching out the waistband of your beloved jeans. THE WAISTBAND STRETCHER”. According to the writer she said the following “So these things may look hilarious - I know - but they actually do work! I have had to accommodate before and use a regular trousers hanger which was luckily enough just the right size to fit the waist of my jeans and it has stretched them out perfectly. You can dampen the waist of the jeans first before using the stretcher and it will help to stretch them out better! It certainly saves time and money over buying new jeans! Or maybe you don’t want to spend any money on a stretcher, why not just wet stretch your jeans whilst wearing them. Note from me - this can be a little uncomfortable wet jeans! According to the article write she “has done it many times before, just put your jeans on and dampen the waist and tug at it a lot or dampen the butt area and do some light squats (careful not to rip your jeans - especially if they are Rock & Republic or a thin denim) and leg stretches. Whatever you choose to do, stretching the waist and wet stretching really does work on your denim, so why not give it a go if your jeans are a little tight? You just might get some good exercise in while you are at it!”

Well it has been two weeks and we are all doing okay in the office with the tum bulge offensive. We have all vowed to lose enough to fit back in to our jeans and even drop a size to get in to a smaller size of jeans. Two more weeks to go and it’s looking good. So what have we done so far - as we said before it is not rocket science and we have not done major changes just thought what we were putting in our mouths before we do it!!!!!!
We all believe that it is important not to miss out breakfast and we have all stuck by that one - porridge being a firm favourite - I know you think porridge it’s tasteless but believe me it does fill you up made with skinny milk or semi skinny milk its okay with a sprinkling of Splenda - not that I want to name drop. We have been eating a lot of bananas and I think other people have too as our local Sainsburys have run out two Monday’s on the trot. Low fat yogurt poured on fruit has been JP’s choice.
Another rule is drink water and all tea and coffee with no sugar. We are not drinking 8 big glasses a day which is what they say you should be but we going to the loo more - so that’s the exercise element covered as well. Oh and given up alcohol just for the month! Can it be done ?
Walking and a bit of exercise are now happening - walking to get the water from the fridge, walking to the post office, walking the dog even. Not ventured to the gym yet but maybe.
And finally for the lucky ones who shall remain nameless at the moment are taking advantage of the long nights by having sex more often! Yes that’s what I said nookie, sex, making love you name it! Not just because it’s a lot of fun, but her who shall remain nameless says that “it can help you to lose weight” and she has told her boyfriend the same! and we all know that energetic sex is a good form of cardiovascular exercise. Pumps up the heart and makes a woman glow!
It increases the heart rate and allows the body to burn more calories and fat. Half an hour of vigorous nookie burns around 80 to 100 calories - so if you can get him in the mood extend it to an hour and that makes 200 calories which is three apples! oh!
All of us are get out more and doing more ! not doing so much work and visiting people more and enjoying our free time more. So it’s win, win, win!
And those jeans are getting looser YIPPE.

With this seasons looks in the high street or of course ONLINE Jeans remain top of the shopping list and an essential item for all men and women. The Canadian Press wrote all about this seasons looks and how a dressy jacket and high heels complete that look, for women but hey we are liberal nowadays, so whatever floats your boat. I watched “Kinky Boots” last night! and I take my hat off to any man wearing shoes sorry boots that high!!! But when you are talking about this season looks it is not just for winder spring is hopefully round the corner after the cold snap disappears and the dressy jacket has its place in spring season as well and we have to remember a girl can never look to hot!
