Blokes are embracing all the colours in the rainbow, with one retailer seeing an increase in the number of guys buying colourful underwear.
Richard Schultz, director of Schultz, said that these days gents are happy to buy briefs in a whole host of different colours, from pink and blue to red and yellow.
He believes this new trend is a direct result of today’s modern man being more receptive to fresh ideas and styles.
“More men are buying colourful underwear especially pink, red, blue and yellow. White and black still remain good sellers but colourful underwear is showing a massive increase in sales,” Mr Schultz said.
He added that women are also picking out colourful boxers and undies for their boyfriends as many females can’t get enough of bright briefs.
Meanwhile, Ryan Willms, writing on Hyrcollective.com, recently claimed gents looking for a nice jacket to add to their wardrobe should take a look at the Margaret Howell cotton sport coat.
Men are taking more pride in their appearance than ever before, with fashion at the forefront of this new mentality, a fashion industry figure has claimed.
Richard Schultz, director of Schultz, states that today’s modern gents are no longer scared to express their individuality, and one way they are doing this is through the clothes they wear.
He adds that men’s shopping habits have also changed, with many taking more time to select items which will compliment them and what they want to say about themselves.
“What men wear to work may not be what they wear to the gym or out on the weekend. And they are feeling more freedom to express their individuality,” Mr Schultz says.
In other fashion news, The Fader blog recently claimed that blokes looking for some stylish footwear for the summer should check out You Must Create’s range of shoes, which the website describes as being “dapper”.
